| Q : | How do I make an international call using Noodle? |
| Ans: | Just put your new Noodle number in before you dial the number you want, that's it. Most of our customers store this number in their mobile phone memory before the numbers they most frequently dial. To do this you have to put a pause your Noodle number and the number you wish to dial. This can normally be done by holding down or pressing more than once the star, zero or the hash key. You may wish to check with the supplier of your mobile phone if you are not sure. |
| Q : | Will people pay extra to call my new number? |
| Ans: | Noodle Oodles numbers are UK mobile numbers. Ofcom classifies Noodle numbers as UK Mobile Service (for those of you that like technical information). If you are calling a Noodle number from a mobile phone and are on a calling plan, the airtime should be included in the minutes bundle you signed up to with your carrier. Noodle recommends that you check with your current service provider first to see if your carrier will apply the Noodle Oodles call to your calling plan. (Give Me Oodles of cash Now !) |
| Q : | How will I receive my cash? |
| Ans: |
Your Noodle cash will appear in your new Noodle account. Once you receive your text message, log onto http://www.noodle.co.uk and you will be able to register your bank account or PayPal details and then you can withdraw your Noodle cash via either method. Or, you can call and give Noodle your details over the phone. Your credit can also be used to buy items from Noodle or can even be exchanged for higher value vouchers later. | Q : | What is a computer phone? |
| Ans: | This is a device that can be downloaded from your account area to your computer. Once you have downloaded it, it will work like your mobile, but on your computer. Calls using this Noodle Phone are free to other Noodle users, and can be as low as half a penny if you call another UK landline. (Give Me Oodles of cash Now !) |
| Q : | How do I see my account balance? |
| Ans: |
You can dial 07700090452 from your Noodle registered phone at anytime, or, once you have received your welcome text, logon to the website at any time to check your balance. |
| Q : | Can I Text from my Noodle Oodles Number? |
| Ans: | You can send a text from your Oodles account via the Website at the rate of 10p per text. The facility to send or receive a text from your Oodles number is not yet available. So remember if you do want to text from your phone you will need to store both numbers (your contacts original number and the number with your Oodles number (pause) and your contacts number) one to talk and one to text! |
| Q : | Can I short code text from my Noodle Oodles number ? |
| Ans: | No, short code text is not a service that is currently available through Noodle- |
| Q : | What is the difference between a Noodle number and a Noodle Oodles number ? |
| Ans: | When a customer wants to use the Noodle service, we allocate them a number that is a noodle non-account number, which enables them to use the noodle service and receive calls to their existing mobile phone. Once they have this number, they can use a host of noodle services ranging from discount international calling to receiving calls and money on their current phone. Once the customer is happy with the noodle service, they may apply for the monthly SIM account, which is simply attached to their noodle oodles account but has the added benefit of making inexpensive calls on a monthly basis. The Noodle SIM account has another number attached to it as well, so you get 2 numbers and both will ring your mobile! |
| Q : |
Why can I not connect to a Noodle Oodles number? |
| Ans: |
Please note that currently Noodle Oodles numbers cannot be accessed from a T-Mobile number. If you cannot access a Noodle Oodles number, please contact your service provider. |
| Q : |
Can I use Noodle to replace my international calling card (How and why you should use the Noodle 0208 Access Number)? |
| Ans: |
Yes! Simply dial 0208 114 1111 from your handset, wait for the dial tone and then dial the destination number that you want to reach. You do not need to press the send key a second time after you have completed dialling. Dialling this way has the added benefit of sending your Noodle number to the person that you are calling. That way they can also call you back on your Noodle number!
You will be charged at a national rate for this call i.e. as if you were dialling a land-line in the UK. Please check with your operator for these charges. Note that for Noodle SIM customers this is charged at only 7 pence per minute. So long as your Noodle account remains in credit (not applicable if you are a Noodle post-pay SIM customer), you can call to international destinations using our great value Noodle rates. These rates are posted on our web-site and start from as low as 0.3 pence per minute including VAT.
For many customers of the 'major' networks (O2, Orange, T-Mobile, 3, Vodafone) geographic 'land-line' numbers are included in your allowance or bundle. The 0208 114 1111 number is a standard geographic landline number - please check with your service provider to confirm how many 'free' minutes you have for calling geographic numbers.
